Entries for this year’s competition may be between 1,500 and 3,000 words and should be on the contest theme of ‘a summer night’. The first prize is €100, publication by English-language culture and reportage magazine Exberliner and a goody bag. The second prize is €50, publication on Exberliner‘s website and a goody bag. The ten finalists will have their stories featured in a Reader Berlin showcase and the opportunity to perform them at a Reader Sunday Salon event in the autumn.
